Superintendent's Message
Welcome to the Osnaburg Local School District website! Our site is designed to provide all visitors with current information about our district, its activities and accomplishments.
For the first time in district history we have received an Excellent with Distinction ranking from the Ohio Department of Education. This ranking is a testament to the efforts of everyone involved in the lives of our students. Although we have reached this level of excellence, we are committed to the continued growth of our students both in and out of the classroom. The 2009 school year promises to be one of change. We have some new faces, familiar faces in new places, and we are getting closer to the completion of our new K-12 building. Although we are constantly looking to improve, keeping the success of our students at the center of all we do will never change. So please enjoy our website and activities that are showcased.

K-12 Building Progress - November 21 , 2009
Additional pictures of the building site may be found by clicking on the School Construction Gallery button on the left side of the district home page. Click on any picture to enlarge it. The construction is progressing very well.The building exterior is done except for some finishing capping/flashing on the roof and the two main entrance doors. The other exterior doors have been installed. The asphalt in the front drop-off areas has been installed. At this time, the interior work being done includes painting, running the wiring, putting in the heat/air ductwork, installing the sprinkler system, and installing the suspended ceilings. The cabinetry and storage units are being installed now in the high school. The tile flooring is being installed in the HS restrooms and in the Kitchen. Painting in the HS gym is nearly done and painting has started in the K-8 gym. Drywall is installed in the dining area, media center, and high school office. The preparation for locker installation is complete. The construction continues to be on time and under budget.
