Superintendent's Message
Welcome to the Osnaburg Local School District website! Our site is designed to provide all visitors with current information about our district, its activities and accomplishments.
For the first time in district history we have received an Excellent with Distinction ranking from the Ohio Department of Education. This ranking is a testament to the efforts of everyone involved in the lives of our students. Although we have reached this level of excellence, we are committed to the continued growth of our students both in and out of the classroom. The 2009 school year promises to be one of change. We have some new faces, familiar faces in new places, and we are getting closer to the completion of our new K-12 building. Although we are constantly looking to improve, keeping the success of our students at the center of all we do will never change. So please enjoy our website and activities that are showcased.

K-12 Building Progress - November 6 , 2009

The construction is progressing very well.The building exterior is done except for some finishing capping/flashing on the roof and the main entrance door. The other exterior doors have been installed. The installation of sidewalks, parking lots and drives, and mulch continues. The front drop-off areas are ready for asphalt as soon as the weather cooperates, and the sidewalks have been installed.At this time, the interior work being done includes painting, running the wiring, putting in the heat/air ductwork, and installing the suspended ceilings. Much of the cabinetry and storage units has been delivered and are being installed now. The HS gym ceiling is painted. The lighting has been installed in both gymnasiums and the cafetorium. The fencing and playground equipment have been installed. The entrance sign base is built and ready for lettering. Drywall is installed in the dining area and high school office and is in the process of being installed in the other offices and in the media center as well. The preparation for locker installation is complete. The band practice field has been hydroseeded. The construction continues to be on time and under budget.
