Superintendent's Message
Welcome to the Osnaburg Local School District website! Our site is designed to provide all visitors with current information about our district, its activities and accomplishments.
For the first time in district history we have received an Excellent with Distinction ranking from the Ohio Department of Education. This ranking is a testament to the efforts of everyone involved in the lives of our students. Although we have reached this level of excellence, we are committed to the continued growth of our students both in and out of the classroom. The 2009 school year promises to be one of change. We have some new faces, familiar faces in new places, and we are getting closer to the completion of our new K-12 building. Although we are constantly looking to improve, keeping the success of our students at the center of all we do will never change. So please enjoy our website and activities that are showcased.

K-12 Building Progress - February 2, 2010

The Middle School gym floor has painted. The display cases have arrived and are ready for installation. New additions include the installation the Middle School lockers, the movable walls in the divided classrooms for special education, gifted, and Title I, floor prep for the fixed seat auditorium, the installation of the partition walls in the restrooms. Recent projects include the installation of the high school hallway lockers,the installation of classroom bulletin boards and white boards, the addition of sound absorption panels in the media center, the placement of science lab tables,the installation of the rear main doors, and carpet installation in the high school office. As one room is completed, the workers move on to the next. Interior installations being done include tile flooring, classroom cabinets, suspended ceilings, plumbing fixtures, and electrical fixtures. Finish painting is being done. The kitchen appliances are being installed. The stage floor and Middle School gym floor and High School gym floor have been installed and the MS gym floor lines for volleyball and basketball have been painted. The glass block walls are done in the media center. Faucets and cabinetry hardware is being installed. The Lockers have been installed in all locker rooms. The sprinkler system is mostly done now. All of the drywall is installed and the finish work is being completed. The construction continues to be on time and under budget.
