Substitute Opportunities Available
Substituting offers you the opportunity to work in a school setting and gain valuable experience. It also offers flexibility of scheduling to work when you want and choose your schedule. If you would like additional information about substituting in East Canton please call us at 330.488.1609.
To apply to be a substitute you must do the following:
- Fill out a support staff application: https://osnaburg.tedk12.com/hire/index.aspx
- Complete BCI/FBI background check through the Stark County ESC (located on the Kent State Stark/ Stark State Campus)
Certified Staff - If you would like to become a substitute teacher, please click here to find out the procedure for Stark County.
Classified Staff - please complete a support staff application, which is available at the link above. You will also need to complete a background check (BCI - fingerprinting). You may set up an appointment for fingerprinting at the Stark County Educational Service Center (330-492-8136).

Substitute Bus Drivers Needed
We are in need of substitute bus drivers.
You'll receive your training from our on board driving instructor and we will be sure you are properly prepared to take the test.
Bus Substitute Drivers have a current Class B license with school and passenger endorsement, and pass a physical and background check.
